As of today, the trout have been on go at the islands. We have been spending a lot of time at Cat Island catching big trout an as of Sunday the nice red fish started to show up. This is great for short boat rides an get to fishing. With this time of year, we are able to run morning an afternoon trips that make for great fishing where the heat not killing you. This type of fishing live croakers are king. And really if you are on the boat are just off one of the local fishing spots this is the bait to use. Trout are spawning this time of year and croakers eat there eggs so this makes them very aggressive to croakers.
